Stifter helps Blazers in quest for a three-peat

Following in the footsteps of her two brothers, Drew and Derek Stifter, first-year basketball player Amy Stifter is the third child in her family to play a collegiate sport.

Stifter was initially interested in
St. Ben’s because she enjoyed watching her older brother, junior Derek Stifter, play football for St. John’s. Derek is a defensive back for the Johnnies.

Campus alcohol policy: Proactive, not reactive

Whether underage or of age, excessive alcohol consumption kills college students every year.

 

As frustrating as it is, there seems no remedy for this. Many students consider binge drinking part of the wwcollege experience, and no number of write-ups or mandated alcohol classes is going to stop the future headlines and water-cooler talk that yet another Minnesota student has died of alcohol poisoning.

Let the minority freely voice its views

In last week’s Record, Andrew Kleinendorst compared the members of SFCT to Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the terrorist leader of Iran. This comparison is unfair and disgusting. Ahmadinejad is one of the most evil men alive, and the things he stands for, and against, are nowhere to be found in the SFCT constitution.
