CSB biochemistry major’s research could help in fight against cancer
Jocie Larson, also a member of the Bennie swim team, has been studying the p300 protein’s HAT (histone acetyltransferase) domain – specifically looking for certain drugs that might be able to bind to it and prevent its role in the expression of certain types of blood cancer

The Johnnies found out Monday they had received one of nine at-large bids available to the 43-team field.
Morgan Van Beck, a Sartell High School graduate, will teach English in Colombia beginning Aug. 1, while Amelia Kahlhamer, a Holdingford High School graduate, will teach English in Romania beginning this September.
The event was the culmination of the semester-long Classics 379A: Grand Strategy class taught by Jason Schlude, professor of classics and history at CSB and SJU.
