I had to learn this in German as a child. A nice song for Advent or Christmas.

The rhythm is a bit tricky in spots. As usual, the top notes are the melody line. The harmony by Praetorius is exquisite; try to play as many of the chords as you can. An advanced beginner should be able to tackle the tab as written, with practice. More skilled players may wish to consult sheet music for additional harmonization.
