This tune is unusual in that it ends with four eighth notes, going up, and the last note is one of the highest in the range of the melody.

Don Haurin and Ann Richens claim that "Garden of Daisies should be the Garden of Deise, an area in County Waterford," but the Gaelic title I have for this tune is Gort Na Noinin.

I found this tune in the key of D in standard notation as number 974 in Francis O'Neill, The Dance Music of Ireland, ed. Francis O'Neill, arr. James O'Neill (Chicago: Lyon & Healy, 1907) 167. The tune is in the public domain in the United States.
