View of overlapping Human Deoxygenated Hemoglobin and Sperm Whale Deoxygenated Myoglobin.  These overlapping protein (show as a dimer) are best viewed in the backbone view.  The most noticeable conformational differences are seen at the termini of the individual chains.  However, if examined carefully, differences can be seen throughout the two proteins.  Along with viewing the 3D overlap, the primary structure comparison is also interesting.  Similarities like these in 3D protein structure supports the evolution theory of common ancestry.
