I am happy to meet with students at times other than my scheduled office hours; however, I will not be available during the times marked "research". I firmly believe that an important component of a liberal arts education is one-on-one interaction between faculty and student. My door is (almost) always open. Also, I don't mind if you stop by and ask questions when I am teaching lab.
