Course Format:
The course is organized around a lecture/cooperative class and daily homework assignments. The class periods will have a mix of some lecturing on course material, and some group work. There will be programming, but most will be done in the laboratory. On a few occasions, students will be asked to do longer programs outside of the laboratory format. This class carries a discussion flag so most of the class participation/homework grade will be determined by that class discussion.
Homework will not, generally, be graded except to note who hands it in but solutions will be gone over in class and handout solutions will be distributed when necessary.
